Instagram

So, I haven’t ben on Instagram much for months now. I post random things, usually if I feel the need to post a picture so I can use it here on this blog.

I am no longer on Facebook. I deleted my account for the final time. I have no plans and no desires to open a new account.

Facebook owns Instagram. Instagram has changed all sorts of things about everything. I follow a lot of people on Instagram, for a variety of reasons. Not that I an keep up with anyone or anything on a regular basis, but I will sit and go through looking for inspiration and for updates now and then.

One reason I had an Instagram account was because I would post pictures of my kids, which would also post to Facebook, so relatives who are only on Facebook could see the pictures and everything easily.

No Facebook account means I don’t need to post on Instagram as much.

I keep my Instagram account because I love to scroll and get inspired, see what other people are doing, support others by following them. That sort of thing.

Hey, I have a TikTok account, but have never posted there and have no plans to do so. I follow way too many rescue ranches and rescue facilities on Tiktok…I have to take it in small doses or I get entirely too hurt/crushed/depressed.

Anyway, why do I no longer post much on Instagram?

I don’t feel called to do so as much anymore. That’s what it comes down to honestly.

Plus, I have moved to taking pictures and posting them directly on this blog if I am so inclined. I also have plans for a different platform in the future where I may be posting more photos, more videos, that sort of thing.

What about you? How do you feel about Instagram these days? Let me know in the comments below.
