Last year, I had intended to bind at least twelve books to sell – and I bound not a single book at all. Although I did make use of ones I had bound the year before.
This year, I have a new bookbinding tool/guide to help me poke the holes in my signatures.
This year, I also want to create my own planner journals for next year, or maybe for something else. Since I am using the Passion Planner daily planners for my daily pages, I should be able to get perhaps a whole year of monthlies and weeklies into a single journal…if you add in all my other tracker pages and whatnot, maybe two.
So, my goal is to 1 create my A5 LGB (Little Golden Book) planner journals for 2022. I also plan to create at least twelve journals for sale, and if I am doing better and am more encouraged and able, I hope to make at least twenty-four for sale.
Yet, I don’t think I have put any of my handmade journals up for sale, although I have made many for other people, and have done several specific requests for a couple people.
My favorite requested journal that I made was for my oldest son…red covers, red papes inside, every bit of it red. I gave it to him once it was done—and he told me he loved it and it was the best…set it in his closet and never touched it again.
I also have several ideas for tiny journals as well. We’ll have to see how well that turns out. If I do what is in my head, I think I can produce ten to fifteen of these tiny journals.
Have any questions or comments? Is there anything, in particular, you would like to see me make? Let me know in the comments below
