Bonus Prompt: The Writer

Don’t be afraid to use this prompt day after day. For as long as you wish.

Our writer today is: Edgar Allan Poe.

Chose any story, or any poem, or any combination thereof.

Find a place where you have questions.

Perhaps you wonder what this character did before the story begins.

Perhaps you wonder what that character did during the story that was never revealed.

Or perhaps you wonder what the other character did years after the story ended, or perhaps sooner than that.

Now, write the tale as it comes to you.

Let me give you a few examples from a single story:

For example, after Pluto is murdered, and the stray cat comes, where does that stray cat come from?

Who burns down the house once Pluto is hung?

How did the stray cat get immured behind the wall with the wife unseen and unknown?
