For August’s prompt theme, I have chosen to go with fire, or flame. Why? Because it is frickin’ hot here …and no matter what other direction my poor addled brain wanted to go in, the flame kept licking at my feet until I gave in.
Fire consumes everything. Concrete burns. Metal melts. Even the Earth herself turns to liquid magma in the face of extreme heat. A phoenix bursts into flame only to be reborn from the ashes. Sometimes the world is hit with a Charlie McGee...or some hero with a cry of “Flame On!”
So for the month of August, immerse yourself in the heat, the flame and see what bursts forth for you.
As always, there are no rules for these prompts. Do as you will with them. Just have fun.
