I have joined Confident Knitting, hosted by Arnall-Culliford Knitwear . This is a tear-long knit-along where they send you a pattern monthly and you learn new and interesting techniques … this year you will learn things to help you knit more confidently.
You can sign up on their website, where they also offer seasonal yarn kits, such as this one…as well as their ultimate Confident Knitting kit, here, which includes the digital book, print book, yarns, etc.
You can also sign up via Ravelry here.
I am looking forward to this year-long learning experience–with trepidation, yes, but also with excitement. I love to learn new things. Especially when it is a new way of doing things.
I also bought their A Year Of Techniques. I look forward to beginning to work through that month-by-month project experience as soon as I finish the Great Green KAL sweater…and at least begin the first Confident Knitting project.
Do I have all my yarns picked out yet? Nope.
I have a few ideas because I have a stash of sock yarn that has been waiting years to be used…I am as yet not a sock knitter. I do own several pairs of hand-made socks–found at the thrift store outlet center of all places. I do think sock knitting will be on my to do properly list in 2022. for right now, I have too many other things on my plate that I want to complete and move on from…move on to something else.
Will you be joining along on our Confident Knitting Journey this year?
