Last year, I read a lot.  I followed a lot of writers.  I did a little bit of work, here and there, but nothing super solid.  I started the Brit Poe Thriving Scribes Abundant Author Journal Club.  As I started to respond to the prompts she provided every month, it struck me, every single tie, how much I love to write, how much I have always loved to write, and how much I simply have not been writing. 

I have begun to move forward by posting more here on this blog, slowly but surely.  My ideal is to post Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays every week. 

Wednesdays are the easy part.  I have already scheduled out this year’s Wednesday prompts, which are all about mermaids.  Not to mention, I have the next two years in planning mode and I already know where they will be going and how I want to present them, which is scary for me.  I am not used to be this organized—nor this galvanized by a project.  I will give you a little hint: we will have three years of mermaid prompts, but every single year will have a different theme…

Now, I do not have a single topic for each of the other days—at least not yet…and there is no telling if and when Fiction Fridays will return…although I very much like that idea as well.

I am also going to be working on writing essays, short stories, poetry, novellas, and of course my novel.  I have a variety of topics to think about that I have never written about outside of my own notebooks because of the way the topics might be taken – and I have no desire to stir up flames of ire.  I am also going to be creating new prompt journeys and workshops.

I am going to sit down, with planner/journal in hand, and create the timeline of what I want to achieve and get done.

I have missed this, this process of creating. 

I have also promised to be more honest, to be more open.  To write more about the things that are on my heart, that create my day, from spiritual matters, to health matters, to hearth matters.
