Since this is the month of Halloween, I thought I would share an excerpt from my Halloween: Create-Your-Own Workshop.
First, let me tell you a little bit about this course.
I created this when we were homeschooling my oldest and she needed a little push to get started on different projects. I wrote a bunch of things for her during her homeschooling years. This one took on life of its own though.
It seems like a simple little invitation to make lists…and then you start looking at the next part, and then the next part. One single prompt can turn into thirty or more prompts, just…like…that…
I geared this course to appeal to all ages. Just remove the parts that ask for something above your kid’s age range. You’ll know it when you see it. There is nothing inappropriate in this course. There are prompts that ask for you to list this many scary movies geared towards adults. That is as far as that goes. So, again, you’ll know when you see something if your child can answer that…or if your child should stick to the younger movie set (that’s in there as well).
And now…here’s your excerpt…just a small taste…
***Create a list of at least twenty Halloween-specific books for adults.
Create a list of at least twenty Halloween-specific books for Young Adults (YA). (This includes teens.)
Create a list of at least twenty Halloween-specific books for young children.***
All this from a single prompt…and the prompt does not in any way end there…
