  • March, The Planner Line-Up

After making a huge long chatty video about my not-a-Bullet-Journal Moleskine last month, I jumped out of my Journey planner completely. As in, I stuck it on a shelf, so if I want to jump back in I can, but don’t hold your breath on it.

I am using my Moleskine as my daily log, as my catch-all, as my note-taker, and as my ephemera dump. In short, everything that the daily pages in the Journey planner are now in this notebook—as well as all the other things I wanted to stick in the Journey planner but didn’t think I should as it would bulk up the planner too much too fast.

My actual catch-all planner, my A6 from Aura Estelle, is where I am tracking my sleep, the weather, all that stuff. There is also plenty of room for those little notes I love to write when I open the planner every morning to insert my numbers and whatnot. And there is also room between each week for brainstorming and braindumping. It’s heaven for me.

I have my A6 Magic of I where I am still writing out my daily gratitude.

I have a Sterling Ink A6 notebook that I use to track my moods and decide what sort of day I have overall so I can translate that into yarn for my 2025 mood blanket. (More on that later.)

I have my reading journal, my crochet journal, and, saving the best for last: my Papertess Manager’s Notebook.

Now, the Manager’s Notebook has been amazing. I have finally hit my stride in this planner, as well as now adding more than just my writing projects and to dos in it. The reflective bits are finally being of use to me, now that I am settling into this planner more.

Honestly, and I so hate to say this because I hate to jinx anything, but I might want two of these planners for next year. One for my author career and the other for my household/other projects. Or maybe next year, I will buy one in the larger size and combine everything in it.

I forgot my weekly Makselife. I am still using it, but now it is more for reflection and goal-setting and not much more than that. I wish I had more to do with it because I love it, but between my Moleskine notebook and Manager’s Notebook planner cover nearly everything I need these days. I am not ready to turn her into a memory keeper or anything yet.

I will eventually do a flip-through video of all my various notebooks and planners to show everyone where I am at and how I am using them.

    What about you?

What are you using in your planning system?

Has it changed since January 1 or are you steady in what you chose at the end of 2024?
