What am I planning to work on this month?
Spring Equinox is this month…plus, in February, my birthday was on the New Moon, so I feel the need to start something new and exciting…while not neglecting my prior projects either.
My desk set-up is running wonderfully. I have that three computer monitor set-up I have been so excited about recently.
Unfortunately, my cats are also thrilled with it as there is more room for them on my desk top—and more room to sit on top of my laptop. But, I do what I can as I am able some days.
I do have back-up plans for those times I am not able to touch my laptop.
My back-up plan is updating my BeetleJuice (Happy) Planner and filling out all the spaces for the week, or catching up on days or weeks that I missed for whatever reason.
I also have my A6 rings, where I take random notes and brainstorm ideas. I can take the ideas I can use immediately and put them in a list of topic ideas for when I do have access to my laptop.
I have my original plotting notes journal, where I spend time actually writing by hand so I can transcribe it later.
If all else fails, I leave the room and go crochet in the living room for a while, until the cat gives up because I am not there and comes to find me.
And then? …
When I do have access to my laptop, in the month of March, I will be transcribing all my current plotting notes into Scrivener for Novel #1 and Novel #2, as well as starting the plotting for Novel #3.
Since I barely published anything at all in February, I am making certain that I publish in all the places, maybe even a bit extra, but we’ll see.
I have been contemplating an update to my 40 Days of Doors course that I created over a decade ago. I may pull that off the back burner and see what I can do with that course.
So—that is the plan for the month. We’ll see how much I achieve.
