Part of what I plan to do in the coming six months is to create a series of zines that will contain a month of prompts per zine. They will contain art as well as the prompts.
What kind of art? Uhm. Some of the beginning, entry-level ones will probably be a continuation of my ICAD circles project, only on a larger scale. My index cards are 4 X 6 inches. The paper I am using to make the zines, at this time, is 8.5 X 11 inches. I am going back and forth between using cardstock and basic copy paper to create the zines, only so they will fit on the new scanner we have, which is quite a bit smaller than our old one.
I mean to create a release schedule so that I set myself up for success, so I know when I should be working on these so that I can meet my self-imposed deadlines. These zines will be available for purchase on my Patreon. Patrons will receive a discount for being subscribers. I will figure that part out as I arrive at them.
I have been going over past prompt journeys from previous blogs and sites that I wrote for. I am thinking that I may bring back, updated and renewed, in this new format. Things like the Alice In Wonderland years. I have two years of prompts from an old blog that I have long desired to return to.
Alice In Wonderland is one of my favorite ‘fairy takes’, so there are times I have a lot of ideas to include a bit of Wonderland Underland Cheshire Cat thrill to my work.
As soon as I create said schedule for zine content and release dates, I will post it so that everyone will know what is coming when.
