So, last month taught me that I am indeed a mood crocheter…hence, four sweaters made for my birthday, but only one is my ‘official’ birthday sweater.
What will I be doing in March?
Well, that yarn that I bought for the original original birthday sweater, the Caron Cake yarn, and its sister Caron Cake yarn I bought to get free shipping on my order, they are up.
I am planning to use the pattern “Whimsical Cropped Crochet Sweater” designed by Maria Flora, which I purchased on Etsy. However, I am not planning to make a cropped sweater.
I want to make a Whimsical Not-Cropped Sweater in the muted rainbow.
I want to use the dark blues cake (sorry, I have the project bag somewhere safe or I would be more specific on the actual yarn) to make a mesh sweater.
I plan to pull out my hexagon pullover and finish it. There were three balls of yarn in the colorway whirlpool galaxy when I originally bought the yarn months ago. I haven’t found that colorway anywhere else.
Fine.
I bought some Premier Basix DK to finish the pullover off. So, that is what I mean to do.
Then, I want to crochet myself a spring top. I have a St Patrick’s Day pullover I made last year (or maybe the year before), but I want something a little different. Not sure on pattern yet, but we will see.
If I finish all of that, I want to find where I started my Betty McKnit 6 Day Blanket and harvest the yarn I used because I don’t want a blanket in those colors any more. I want the one print yarn to make a mesh pullover.
AND if I finish that (don’t hold your breath), I want to crochet some hanging kitchen towels (very easy) and some crochet baskets..because baskets in all sizes will always be used in our household. Not to mention, I will probably have to make some for cats. I don’t know which cats will take a basket over as his (or her) home…other than Steve. Steve will need his own basket. We know that.
So, those are my crochet plans for March.
