After being too whatever last year and forgetting that Mer-May is a thing—even though I had it written down in about seven different places and planners last year so I would not forget—I decided that under no circumstance would I forget about it this year.
So, here is the reveal for the prompts that will be posted throughout May to inspire your own Mer-May fantasies.
The Rule Of Four.
It doesn’t sound like much, does it?
What I will offer up every day of May will be: the fact that it requires a mermaid, a color, an object (any sort of noun so far)and an emotion.
You will take these four items, if you so choose, and create whatever you feel called to create with them. Be it art or writing or anything else. Feel free to do you.
Now, you do not have to utilize all four items. Take what resonates with you and run with it.
Allow the prompts to inspire you in whatever way you want them to.
You could even create a piece based on each prompt separately and then all four together if that is what lights you up.
I hope this keeps you creatively sparked and charged all month long.
