Ahhh. My Ottergami notebook, set up as a social media/publishing tracker, with room to set up tasks, review and reflection pages, as well as brainstorming pages.
How did the first two months of using this notebook go?
Well, the intentions were great, but the actual usefulness? Not so much.
Now, the very first month, before I needed to know what published where when, it worked a treat. I finished everything for the month of December and had it all scheduled out, as well as the first few weeks of January. I had it all scribbled and noted and tracked.
Come January, although everything I had written down in December was clearly written and I understood it, there was too much flipping back and forth. I forgot what topic was supposed to be published where and on what day.
The reflections pages are well worth it. They work great.
The goals and the tasks pages worked well also.
Same thing with the brainstorm/brain dump pages.
Within the first ten days of January, using it to track what days are scheduled and for what ended.
I, so far, have kept using the reflection and the other pages. At least into January.
I am thankful I stopped setting pages up at the start of February. As in, I did nothing much at all for February.
I have had a few ideas about what to do moving forward with this notebook, but for right now, nothing quite seems right.
For now, I will be using it for what I can, mostly reflection and goal/task planning. Once I figure out something else to do with it, I will be sure to let you know.
