The creature: Are those masses of writhing tentacles beneath the waves? Is that one huge glowing eye with a horizontal slash of pupil rising forth to stare at the passing boats? Do you hear some strange groaning and growling from under the water? How many ships have gone down under mysterious circumstances in this same area?
