Tell me what it is — or tell me the story about it.
The creature: During the Winter, strange barking howling noises swirl around the edges of town during the night. Come morning, odd tracks, not quite human, not any animal the townsfolk recognize, larger than expected, tread through the snow in the village. Irregular markings show up on houses, buildings, and barns. Town animals may be spooked, but none have yet to vanish under anything but normal circumstances.
