Currently

Currently, I am going to forgo keeping up with my Substack newsletter because it seems as if it is taking too much energy out of me at the moment. I feel as if I am taking things away from my blog in order to write something for my newsletter. So, back to my blog here, which is my main desired focus.

Also, starting last Wednesday I am writing a Practical Magic series over on my Medium account.

I am going to use the ALP Currently list, with a few other things thrown in as well, because I haven’t been doing it in my journal/planner for months now.

Watching: Lights Out on YouTube, Mystery Archives on YouTube, and various crochet and maker channels as well. (If you want to know which makers, let me know. I will make a list for you.)

Wanting: Cooler weather. Rain. Lots of thunderstorms and rain. Temperatures in the 60s. And no interruptions so I can crochet to my heart’s delight.

Reading: I started We Sold Our Souls by Grady Hendrix, but I keep walking away from it in order to crochet more. Yesterday, my dad sent me Ghost Eaters by Clay McLeod Chapman. I read the blurb on the back of the book. I read reviews on Amazon. I am going to start this one tonight after I reach a certain point in my crochet project.

Listening: The McBallen Podcast. It is s true crime podcast, so you are aware.

Making: The Parrot Raglan, as well as bread, pizza dough, and sweet potato bread.

Feeling: I am still not up to par, between mental health and physical health, but I am at least trying.

Loving: Crocheting these raglan sweaters for myself. I love this entire process. I love switching up the sleeves and making them as long as I like in whatever way I want.

Planning: more Halloween sweaters, more Halloween crochet crafts, buying Halloween-specific yarns once they are released, buying cotton blend yarns to crochet polos for my husband

What about you? What does your ‘currently’ look like? What are you up to?
