If you recall the newsletter a few weeks ago (here) where I said maybe I would offer photo prompts for Fridays for the next three months (starting June 23 and running to September 1).
I decided I do not want to offer photo prompts. My youngest child has a thing for cryptids. This means we watch a lot of shows about cryptid finding and research about cryptids. We read a lot of books, watch videos, wear t-shirts, and keep an eye out on our own. Not to mention, there are plushes and figures and all sorts of things throughout the entire house.
Focusing on how we are related to various cryptids ourselves (Point Pleasant, WV, anyone?), I started to think about Furry Fridays, but it struck me that not all cryptids have fur. Why not Freaky Fridays?
I like Freaky Fridays a lot better. But still, that doesn’t really pull me into what the heck the prompts will be or will be about.
I had to think about that a little bit more.
I think what I am going to do is offer up an environment, or a scene, and let you take over from there.
There may be a picture or two to help you generate an idea or two as well, at least every now and then.
What do you think about this?
I hope you will enjoy these prompts while I am offline doing my thing elsewhere.
