More Knitting To Keep Me Moving

For years, I have wanted to knit or crochet or sew or craft or something decorations for our Yule tree. I have always been far too busy with all sorts of things to ever actually do anything…I don’t think I have ever even sat down and thought about what I wanted, or asked the kids what they wanted, anything like that.

This year, I was going through the websites of the designers in the Indie Design 2021 Gift-Along, I found Gina Michele–and she has a couple free knitting patterns that made me think that they would be perfect to work up on a one-a-day sort of project. Like this cute little tree pattern. Once you start looking, there are other free patterns, like this other cute little tree pattern. I saw little sweaters for decorations and other things that perhaps I will look at some other time. Right now, all I want is quick, easy and mindless. Little trees are perfect for this–and they can be done in an abundance of colors. All of which will make my youngest happy.

Will I be making one tree per day throughout the month? Probably not. I will be making up a few here and there when I need something different to work on for a bit. I am hoping to knit up at least twelve of them throughout the month. More than that will simply be a bonus.
