And so, my own personal New Year (Samhain) has passed…I have my planning all written out and ready for individual planners/journals for the coming year. (You’ll hear more about that journey as we continue through the year.)

I have had my Word Of The Year for 2021 ready since mid to late September when it first began to whisper to me. Since September is early even for me to start thinking about such a word…especially since I don’t always remember this year’s word (Reverence)…I sort of noted it and moved on without giving it much thought.

Then October hit and the word SUBMERGE started to hit me, hard, constantly…telling me where to go…showing me images…leading the way and hauling me along for the ride. The word overtook my dreams…it seemed during the day, the word world crop up in my mind, or even in what I was doing, and push the button to trigger something in me to not just accept the word, but to embrace the word, to envelope the word, to become the word…because in order to submerge, this is what you have to do…

And so…I finally sat down with this word and began to look at it, to feel it, to taste it…to explore…

Submerge is exactly what I need in my life in this coming year…it will help me on my journey to get to where I want to go and where I want to be.
